The House-
 

As I wake up to the sun beams shin down on my face, I know today is not going to be a good one. Sighing as I drag myself out of bed I look at myself in the mirror, my light blonde hair is all tangles and tuggy from a restless sleep, my eyes have big black bags under them, making me look even more tired than I really am. I slump downstairs to the kitchen to be greeted by my triplet sisters -Sapphire and Jessamme - and my big brother Micky. I sit down at he table and help myself to a slice of bread and butter, a big glass of orange juice and a big, red apple.
"Em" I hear Sapphire say to me
"What?" I ask her
"What happens of you get reaped today?"
"I won't, I'm not going to volunteer even if it's you or Jessamme." That shut her up.
My mother comes in and looks at us all, me and my sisters, it's our four reaping today, so mum is very upset in case we get reaped, even if we are 14.
'I layed out clothes for you all upstairs.' She says to us.
I get up an hug her hard and run upstairs to get dressed. Seeing what she laid out for me brings a tear to my eye, it was Helena's reaping clothes for when she was 14. Helena died at the age of 16 when I was only 4. I never knew what the Hunger Games was then, but after she died in the final two, I learnt what is was.
I slip into the dress, poking all the polka dots on the dress before tackling my messy main of hair. After half of an hour my hair is finally smooth and shiny, I put my hair up in a high ponytail and I put the bow on where the bobble is. I slip in the pearl White shoes and I put on my silver locket round my neck. I go into the bathroom and brush my teeth ad now it was time to go..........
 

The Reaping-
 
I line up in the queue to get registered, about a thousand other girls my age are waiting here, wanting either to get reaped or to just get this over and done with and to go home. I was the second type of girl. I hated killing, I just hated it so much. My father has got me trained up so well, he says if I get reaped, I'll win. But that gets push out of my head as my blood gets taken, I close my eyes and after it is done I suck on my finger, trying to get the pain away, even if I'm quite used to it now. I stand beside my triplet sisters as Olive cones onto the stage 'Welcome to the 75th Hunger Games! Now first were going to play a film from the Capitol!' I start to nod off as the film plays on and in, but I get a big fright when I hear a familiar name, a really familiar name. The name was Emerald Lightwood
